CODball, the new Rocket League game mode in MW2 !

Since its release in October 2022, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has been a great success. The free Warzone 2.0 mode has also been back since November 16. And that's not all ! 

We recently learned that the famous football players Neymar, Messi and Pogba have joined the game, but it seems that this is not the only new news to come. Indeed, a Rocket League game mode should soon make its arrival on MW2. Let's find out together !

A Rocket League game mode in MW2 for the 2022 World Cup !

No, you're not dreaming ! According to leaks, a new Rocket League-inspired game mode is coming to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 called "CODball" and will be available in part to celebrate the 2022 football World Cup.

Images leaked by dataminers show players riding vehicles into a football stadium. The objective, as in Rocket League, would be to shoot the ball into the opposing team's net.

CODball is said to feature footballers Neymar, Pogba and Messi who will arrive in the game as operators. Neymar will enter the game on 21 November, Pogba on 25 November and Messi on 29 November. So we can imagine that the new game mode will start when the first footballer is added as an operator on November 21. However, there is no official information about the release date yet.
