FIFAe Nation Cup 2022, date and competition news

The FIFAe Nations Cup 2022 is the last event in the FIFAe Tier 1 event series organised by FIFA and EA in July. Like the other FIFAe events, this one will take place offline in Copenhagen. Players representing themselves and their clubs respectively will compete this time wearing their country's jersey.

FIFAe Nation Cup 2022, date and competition news

The main event of the 2022 FIFA Nations Cup will take place in two phases. Teams will compete first in the group stage and then in the knockout stage for a chance to win the competition. The group phase takes place from 27 to 28 July. So today is the last day. The 24 countries participating in the main event will be divided into four groups of six teams each. The countries that finish in the top 4 of their group will qualify for the next phase, the Knockout Stage. This stage will be played in a single elimination format. The knockout phase of the FIFA Nations Cup will be played in stages: round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.
Five regions are included in the competition: 

• Europe
• Middle East and Africa
• North America
• South America
• Asia-Pacific 
• In addition, Denmark is directly involved in the tournament as the host country.

At the end of the 3-day tournament, on 30 July, the champion will be crowned. All matches will be played offline at the Bella Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark. The prize pool for the event has reached $400,000. The winner of the tournament will receive the largest share of the prize money, but it is not yet known how the rest of the prize pool will be distributed.
