FBI investigates Rockstar case and GTA 6 leaks
For the past few days, Rockstar Games' next game has been the talk of the town. Indeed, more than 90 videos of GTA 6 have been leaked on the internet, with only one person at the origin of these leaks. Many rumours have circulated about it afterwards, such as the fact that the hacker was trying to negotiate with Rockstar Games !
On Monday 19 September, Rockstar Games officially communicated about the leaks, explaining that they are disappointed that the game was revealed in this way. However, the publisher does not intend to let this hacker do it, as it is currently in contact with the FBI and the US Department of Justice.

This weekend the leaks of GTA 6 content took place, but not only ! A few days before, the company Uber was also hacked, probably by the same person. In an official Uber press release (source), we learn that both companies, Uber and Rockstar Games, are now working closely with the FBI and the US Department of Justice on this matter.

The group known as Lapsus were seemingly involved with the attacks which have previously targeted Microsoft & Nvidia in 2022.https://t.co/VVrGsA2ljJ pic.twitter.com/1Dv3rXnsrb
So there is a good chance that the hacker will be found, and that measures will be taken to penalise him in the coming days or weeks. or the moment, we don't know anything more about this, but it's possible that there will be more releases if there is any news !
