Pokemon Scarlet and Violet updates, what's new for these upcoming releases ?

After more than 25 years as a pop culture mainstay, no year would be complete without the release of a Pokemon game duo. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have finally been announced. The new versions are coming later this year to Nintendo Switch. 

Scheduled for release on November, 2022 these new releases are, as usual, raising the anticipation and questions of players. So what are the first news and information about Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet ?

What to expect from the new Scarlet and Violet Pokemon ? 

The new Pokemon releases are still quite mysterious, but we can already bring you some new features:

• A new region : Yes, a new region will host the plot of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games. You'll be able to discover new Pokemon, a world "for young and old" that can be explored entirely in an open way, without any transition between zones, and offering many new features that will quickly convince fans and addicts of the Pokemon formula.

• Three new starters : In these new versions, you'll find three new starters: Poussacha, Coiffeton and Chochodile. Your three little friends offer us a new way to discover the new world of these ninth generation Pokémon games. And you can't afford not to. Poussacha is a plant-type Pokémon, while Coiffeton is a water-type and Chochodile is a fire-type.

• New legendary pokemon : Koraidon (exclusive to the Scarlet version) and Miraidon (exclusive to the Purple version)
