Sony has announced a price increase for its PS5 console and in a blog post, the company explains the reasons for this choice. It is because of the high inflation linked to the global economic environment that Sony decided to increase the pricing of the PS5. More precisely, it is the increase of the recommended retail price. The local retailer may well decide on a different price depending on their market. Several regions are affected by this increase, including Europe. The United States is not affected by this decision for the time being.
