Release time update 21.20 on Fortnite
After the deployment of the 21.10 Fortnite patch, allowing to deploy some new features, it's the turn of the second patch of the season, the 21.20, to be deployed in the game ! Like most major updates, this one will add new content to the game, and certainly fix some bugs. It's also the potential arrival of the Fortnite x Naruto Rivals collaboration. Also, this week, the FNCS, Fortnite's famous international competition begins !
At the moment, we know that the update will be released on 5 July 2022, but when exactly will it be available ? When will the maintenance start and when will the servers be back online ? Lets' discover it !
What time is Fortnite update 21.20 coming out ?
Updates occur regularly on Fortnite, adding new content and fixing existing bugs. The next one is patch 21.20, the second major patch of the season, and will roll out this Tuesday, July 5, 2022.

Regarding its release time, the maintenance will start at 10am, with matchmaking stopping at 9:30am. The patch will not yet be available at the beginning of the maintenance, it will take a few hours before it is deployed! The exact release time cannot be announced, it is the end of the maintenance that determines this time.
How to download the patch ?
Downloading the patch will be mandatory in order to play Fortnite. To download it, go to the Epic Games launcher at the end of the maintenance. The update will be offered to you when you attempt to launch Fortnite, or will be automatically downloaded depending on your saved preferences.
