Epic Games has always had a knack for knowing exactly what fans want, and each Fortnitemares is further proof of their expertise. This year, rumours and leaks are already giving us a tantalising taste of what's to come. What skins and cosmetics will be on offer this year?

While the official date remains a mystery, the story gives us a few clues. Based on last year's event, which kicked off 14 days before Halloween, on 18 October 2022, Fortnitemares 2023 could well start around 17 October 2023, ending in the early hours of 1ᵉʳ November.
Curiosity is running high when it comes to Halloween skins. Expectations are high, and according to some leaks, they may well be met. In particular, information was revealed during the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 update. Among these revelations, the name "LagerEventData_VampireBoss" suggests the arrival of a vampire boss on the island, presumably specific to this event.
Skins under discussion include:
- Swamp Fishstick
- Molten Love Ranger
- Une variante effrayante de Meowscles
In addition to the skins, a number of iconic items will be making a comeback for Halloween 2023, including the famous Witch Broom and the Pumpkin Launcher, to name but a few. What's more, players will be able to discover two new augmentations:
- Witchy Warrior: 20% reduction in the recharge time of the Witch Broom
- Trick or Treat: +10 health points when any sweet is eaten
Not to mention the launch of the Sticky Grenade Launcher in Horde Assault mode, which promises to shake up in-game strategies.
