Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 release date: when is the game coming out?
The year 2023 was to be a special one for the Call of Duty licence. Indeed, it is one of the last to continue creating a game every year, and it had been declared that this year would no longer be the case.
But in the end, under pressure from gamers (and perhaps also investors), a new game will be released anyway, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and we've even been given a release date!
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 release date: when is the game coming out?
The story behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is pretty far-fetched. As we said in the introduction, the game shouldn't even have existed in the first place.
Then, just a few weeks after the announcement, the news was much more nuanced! We were told that there could still be some content planned for the end of 2023.
A number of leaks revealed that we would be getting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at the end of the year. Despite all these rumours, nothing was certain.
But this time it's here! It's official! A new game is coming.

Activision released a short video on Twitter. The video doesn't really tell us anything new, apart from the fact that Modern Warfare 3 will be the sequel to the previous instalment in the saga.
However, at the end of the video, what we are interested in is the game's release date. As is often the case with games in this saga, it's due out at the end of October or the beginning of November, in this case on 10 November to be precise!
