Fortnite x Dragon Ball Tournament of power, how to participate ?

Fortnite is rich in new collaborations on the game. Recently, we saw Naruto skins arrive to delight fans of the famous Japanese manga. Last week, we learned of a unique partnership with another manga: Dragon Ball. 

To mark the occasion, several items will be added to the game when Patch 21.40 rolls out. There will be a Dragon Ball Map in Fortnite to watch episodes of Dragon Ball Super in-game. In addition, there is a new tournament in the game: the turnament of power. If you participate, you can win interesting rewards, such as the angry Vegeta emote.

How to participate in the tournament of power ?

The Tournament of power is a two-player competition that will take place in all regions of the game on Thursday 18 August 2022. All players are invited to participate, provided they meet a number of conditions : 

• Enable 2-factor authentication (2FA)
• Have a verified Epic account
• Have a level 50 or higher account

What are the rewards of the tournament ?

If you decide to participate in the tournament of power, it's maybe because you want to have fun with your mates or to complete new challenge. Anyway, your attendance can allow you to get unique rewards in the game. You can win 3 prices : 

• Angry Vegeta Emote : Finish in the top 50% of the rankings
• Goku's Kanji Banner Icon : Gain 8 points in the main ranking
• Beerus's Meal Spray : Earn 3 Kamehamaha points

How do I earn points in the Tournament of power ? 

You have to play 10 games in a 3 hour time slot on the game. Your overall ranking in the tournament will depend on your result in each of these games. In addition, the Kamehamaha ranking is present in this tournament. In order to score points, you have to make a kill with the Kamehamaha, a new item added in the game. If you get 3 points in this ranking, i.e. by making 3 kamehamaha eliminations, you can get the Beerus Meal spray.
