GeForce Now x Fortnite, how to get the Pickaxe ?

But for now and until the beginning of August, players can pick up a free pickaxe thanks to GeForce NOW. For those who don't know, Nvidia GeForce Now is a cloud gaming service where you play games hosted on remote services and streamed over the internet to one of the supported devices. It's a bit like Google Stadia, Cloud Gaming with Xbox Game Pass, Shadow or PlayStation Now. Here's how to get the item !
How do you get a pickaxe when playing Fortnite via GeForce Now ?
As Epic Games says on its official website (source), you'll be able to get a free item this summer through NVIDIA's GeForce NOW service. To put it simply, all players who log in to Fortnite via GeForce NOW at any time between July 21 at 6pm CEST and August 5, 2022 at 5:59am CEST will receive the Dish-Stroyer pickaxe ! This will start to be delivered from 11 August 2022. Don't worry if you don't receive your item right away. It may take several hours to receive the gift package containing the pickaxe.

Gamers using GeForce NOW can now play Fortnite on mobile with the touchscreen (on some iOS Safari and Android phones and tablets), with a keyboard and mouse on most GeForce NOW-enabled devices, and with a controller on all GeForce NOW-enabled devices.
As a reminder, in order to qualify for this gift, you must first sign up for the service. GeForce NOW offers three types of subscriptions : free, priority and RTX 3080. You can find all the information (price, duration..) on the official website (source). As you can see, a subscription is free and can therefore allow you to pick up the deck on Fortnite !
