Slide kick Fortnite, how to dislodge a Runaway Boulder ?
That's it, Season 4 of Chapter 3 is here! The very first week of Fortnite challenges is also available to all players, as of this Thursday, September 22nd ! The challenges are mostly related to the mechanics of the new season, like the one asking you to drive several types of chrome vehicles.
One of them, a little more complicated to complete, requires you to dislodge a runaway boulder with a slide kick. But how do you do a slide kick in Fortnite, and successfully dislodge the runaway boulder ? Here we go ! We'll tell you how it works !
How to slide kick to dislodge a Runaway Boulder in Fortnite ?
To complete this quest in week 1, you will need to start by finding a Runaway Boulder. They are easy to find because of their large size, but also because they are placed on a pile of other rocks :
Here is a Runaway Boulder in Fortnite
Once you have found one, you can start slide kicks. To do this, simply slide up to the boulder ! This way, it will get a kick and 25 points of damage. However, you will have to use several of them to successfully dislodge the boulder ! One will not be enough.

One trick is to inflict damage on the rock with your pickaxe, and finish with a few sliding kicks. This way, you will go much faster to complete the challenge.
