PUBG in free-to-play, how to play the game for free?

Today PUBG is one of the pioneers of the Battle Royale worldwide. Since January 12, 2022, the game has become free-to-play for the pleasure of many players.

How to play PUBG for free ? 

As announced by Krafton on the game's official website, PUBG became free-to-play on January 12, 2022. It is now possible to play free-to-play on PS4, Xbox, and PC via Steam. To play it is very simple: players must download and install the game through the shop of their platform.

Another new feature was also presented by Krafton; the Battlegrounds Plus. This is a service that can be purchased to unlock new items such as : 

• A 100% experience boost
• Medals tab in the Career menu
• Ranked mode
• Creation of private games
• An exclsuive outfit

This new service will be automatically unlocked for free for players who already own PUBG before the free-to-play transition! For others, this service is priced at $12.99.
